Terms of service

Effective September 26, 2026

These terms govern your use of ThamaSpy: the website, the dashboard at app.thamaspy.com, the Chrome extension, and the alert emails (together, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these terms. If you use the Service for a business, you agree on behalf of that business.

1. The Service

ThamaSpy checks publicly available product pages that you choose to track, records changes in price and stock, and notifies you. Checks happen on a schedule that depends on your plan. Product information comes from third-party websites; we cannot guarantee that it is complete, accurate, or up to date, and a store may change its pages or block our checks at any time.

2. Your account

You must provide a valid email address and keep access to it secure, because sign-in links are sent there. You are responsible for activity in your account. You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• track pages that require a login, are not public, or that you are not permitted to access;
• use the Service to overload, disrupt, or attack any website, or try to get around our rate limits or plan limits;
• try to access other users' data, or interfere with or reverse engineer the Service's security;
• use the Service for anything unlawful, or in a way that breaks the terms of the websites you track.

We check each store at a modest rate and identify ourselves honestly. We may stop checking any page or site, and may suspend accounts that break these rules.

4. Plans, billing, and cancellation

• Paid plans are billed monthly in advance, in US dollars, through our payment processor Stripe, and renew automatically until cancelled.
• You can cancel anytime from Settings → Manage billing. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you paid for, then your account moves to the Free plan. Payments are non-refundable except where required by law.
• If you move to a plan with a lower product limit, products over the limit are paused, not deleted, and resume when you upgrade.
• If a payment fails, we may keep your plan active while Stripe retries, then move your account to the Free plan.
• We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice by email; changes apply from your next billing period.
• Prices do not include taxes, which may be added where required.

5. Your content and our service

You keep your rights to the information you provide. You give us permission to use it only to operate and improve the Service, as described in our privacy policy. ThamaSpy, its software, and its design belong to us.

6. Availability and changes

We work to keep the Service running, but it is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by law. We may change or discontinue features; if we discontinue the Service entirely, we will give reasonable notice and refund any prepaid, unused period.

7. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, ThamaSpy is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost profits or business decisions made based on the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

8. Ending your use

You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms, with notice where reasonable.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.

10. Changes to these terms

If we make material changes, we will update the date above and notify account holders by email before they take effect. Continuing to use the Service after that means you accept the new terms.
